Mercy Clinic in Galena, KS is a busy, comprehensive, well-established practice in Southeast Kansas and adjacent to Joplin, MO. We are seeking a full-time BE/BC Family Medicine physician to join a dynamic, innovative practice where youll find the freedom to work independently while getting the support of a large network. Work alongside an expert team of care professionals who genuinely care for one another and share your passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

• 100% Outpatient Practice
• Clinic support staff consists of 1:1 Medical Assistant to provider and Primary Care Nurses provide support for in-basket messaging, all clinic phone calls, patient follow-up, quality metric
• Flexible schedule, option for 4-day work week, no weekends
• Limited call responsibility, Mercy On-Call for after-hours support
• Must be willing to collaborate with NPs and PAs
• A large, established multi-specialty network
• System Wide EPIC
• DAX (Dragon Ambient Experience) available and cost provided by Mercy

Mercy Clinic Offers:

• Competitive value-based compensation package
• 2-year guarantee of $300,000
• $100,000 in recruitment incentives including: $55,000 sign on bonus, 2nd year retention bonus of $35,000, up to $10,000 in relocation assitance
• After your guarantee starting in year three, youll have the opportunity to choose your own practice model:
  • Fee-for-Service: for thos who want to maintain a large commercially-oriented panel and minimize present-day HCC coding
  • Senior Focused: oriented around longer visits with fewer patients with more chronic needs. Practice development focuses on medical management skills and strong documentation.
  • Hybrid: a blend of the above. Ideal for thos gravitating toward the world of value-based care but not interested in selecting a specific patient subset.
  • Salary + Bonus: fort hose who value stable, predictable compensation through steady, standards-based work.
• Up to $10,000 in relocation
• 4 weeks vacation plus 6 holidays, plus 1 week CME (while on guarantee)
