PURPOSE AND SCOPE
This key position is responsible for making our customers' projects come to life and ensuring all products are installed accurately, in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of our valued customers. This position is responsible for all site preparation work as well as installation of all product lines.
JOB KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The ideal subcontractor must have a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years' experience in general construction, have knowledge of doors and trim installation, can identify and troubleshoot installation issues, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to use various hand/power tools and have a working knowledge of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing and how it relates to the installation process. The Subcontractor must also possess solid customer service skills as this position is the main point of contact with our valued customers while their project is in the process of installation.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drives to scheduled job sites; meets with customers; accurately performs required measurements and technical breakouts based on scope of each individual project. Takes photos of pertinent areas relating to the job and notes any issues, problems or defects found that would impact the progress of the job.
- Performs duties in compliance with OSHA, HAZCOM, and other pertinent safety and government regulations.
- Supervises and assists in loading and unloading of all materials on vehicles.
- Cuts and organizes all materials necessary to properly install each job.
- Installs all products with accuracy and quality workmanship.
- Upon completion of the job double checks all work to ensure quality and cleans the job site thoroughly.
- Reviews all necessary information regarding the completion of the job with Artisan Millwork management to ensure satisfaction.
- Demonstrates proper use of our products to ensure lasting performance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the Subcontractor is regularly required to stand, lift, climb, and bend. The Subcontractor must frequently lift and/or move 50 - 100 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
