Our client, a multi-facility container distribution company, is looking for an experienced General Ledger Accountant. In this role, you will handle both routine and complex accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy of financial records while maintaining compliance with GAAP standards. - Manage General Ledger accounts, handling daily transactions -Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies -Prepare and post accurate journal entries -Allocate expenses to appropriate cost centers and accounts - Assist with monthly reporting and financial statement preparation -Support the month-end closing process - Conduct variance analysis - Oversee CAPEX and fixed asset management
