Qualifications:

Previous work experience in carpentry or a construction environment.
Attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
High School Diploma or GED.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to read and understand a tape measure.
Fairly good math skills.
Good hand/eye coordination.
Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding
Ability to operate cordless drills, circular saws, miscellaneous tools, and hammer nails

Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, and assemble wood, metal, and other materials according to project specifications and blueprints.
Install structures such as doors, windows, flooring, and cabinetry with precision and accuracy.
Repair wooden structures, replacing damaged sections, and refinishing surfaces.
Meet production standards efficiently and accurately.
Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools, including drills, saws, and hammers.
Work independently as well as part of a team to complete projects on time.
Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Work safely in a construction environment, using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
Perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and finishing work.
Use ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment for working at heights.
