Basic Function and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift in the plant and yard area while ensuring that shipping and receiving flow smoothly by performing the following duties:
Operates a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count product.
Receives and unloads shipments of lumber, plate and materials safely by moving the product to the proper location to stack and store appropriately.
Ensures shipments received are accurate and free of damage, reporting any discrepancies or quality concerns.
Pulls and prepares product for shipment by loading trucks for delivery ensuring orders are accurate and complete according to order and D.O.T. regulations.
Removes roof and floor trusses from production area and places in outside storage area according to WTCA industry standards
Performs daily maintenance and inspection of forklift
Assists with physical inventories and stock rotation as needed.
Receive incoming shipments, processes all necessary paperwork to the shipping and receivingdepartment.
Empties trash dumpsters.
Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area in the plant and yard at all times.
Follow safety rules and regulations at all times ensuring personal safety and the safety of all others in the plant and yard areas.
Completes any other duties assigned by Production Coach or Dispatch Coach
Performs other related duties as assigned including work in other areas or assigned projects.
Equipment - C30 Combilift
Any other duties assigned by Warehouse Manager.

Job Specifications
Minimum age 18
Must have good organizational skills.
Excellent oral communication, reading and writing skills in English language
Ability to pass drug test
Ability to maintain good attendance
Must have good eyesight and hearing
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
2 years forklift experience
Forklift certified
Computer experience
Warehouse experience
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Outdoors 100% of the time, all weather.
Safe lifting of up to 105 pounds.
