1ST SHIFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN NEEDED - MASON, MICHIGAN
A Leading Automotive Supplier in Mason, Michigan needs a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician. This is a Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Position offering Competitive Compensation, Bonus Potential, Good Benefits, Paid Holidays and Paid Vacation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for preventive maintenance of systems as well as repairs relating to the building facility, in support of production operations. Repairs, maintains or coordinates the efforts of building processes and equipment. May have all or partial responsibility for mechanical and/or electrical equipment.
Assists team in establishing safe and effective procedures for specific repairs.
Fosters and supports cost reduction activities as directed.
Performs and/or participates in facilities related projects as directed or as required.
Recommends and/or participates in facility related repairs.
Facilitates completion of work orders as required.
Notifies Manager when major repairs are required.
Responds to emergency calls in the facility relating to production deliverables.
Work with outside contractors on scheduled projects/repairs.
Assure all safety devices are properly in place and utilized, Lockout/Tagout procedures are adhered to, PPE is worn correctly at all times, and reporting of any near-misses, injuries, or accidents occurs immediately.
Keep work area clean and orderly to prevent safety hazards.
Assure adherence to quality policies and procedures including acceptable work standards, customer specifications and IPI requirements, to also include participation in the creation and support of systems, documentation and actions to ensure continued conformance to Quality (IATF) and Environmental (ISO) management systems.
Observe and follow company policies and maintain proper standards of conduct at all times.
All other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization s Values.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associates or technical school degree preferred.
At least 1 year Maintenance experience preferred.

At least 1 year Maintenance experience preferred.
Fundamental capacity to interpret mechanical, electric and pneumatic systems.
Fundamental troubleshooting skills.
Working knowledge of Captor, SAP or related ERP system preferred.
Strong communication skills including written, verbal and listening.
