Job DescriptionPursuing a highly motivated and skilled maintenance mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. Basic responsibilities would include but not limited to: participating in maintenance team’s day-to-day maintenance activities. Computer skills and knowledge in the use of CMMS are strengths for this individual. This position will be responsible for maintaining equipment functions at peak performance, completing preventive maintenance measures as scheduled, and execute repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
Hours: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for :
- Maintain and perform basic troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical aspects of all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) on site, including conveyor systems, sortation, and scale.
- Demonstrate mechanical proficiency for hydraulic and pneumatic systems, AC/DC electrical motors, drives, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, etc.
- Clean, lubricate, and adjust equipment when scheduled or as needed.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical circuits and related electronic equipment, using tools such as multi-meters.
- Use CMMS to create and close work orders with appropriate information.
- Follow appropriate safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment (Lock Out/Tag Out, Hot Permit etc.)
- Adhere to all required safety procedures including PPE requirements.
- Complete basic warehouse repairs.
- Ensure that all company tools are in working order
- Adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal codes and OSHA requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work with outside contractors regarding routine preventative maintenance and emergency service calls.
- Weekend / off-shift work as needed to maintain equipment.
- Carry out additional projects/tasks as needed.

Facilities Supervisor
Qualifications- 5 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably in a Distribution Center setting.
- High level of overall mechanical repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills associated with sensors and conveyor system.
- Perform all tasks following established safety guidelines and procedures.
- Must be competent in utilizing various hand, electric, and manual tools.
- Basic knowledge of electrical motors and circuits.
- Proficient of using electrical test equipment such as volt meter and multimeter.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate with all team members, and work both independently and as a member of a team.
- Flexibility with daily task assignments and ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift 25 lbs.

While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range or $26.43 to $35.68/hour.
