Brilla Public Charter Schools is a network of K-8th grade schools that currently serves nearly 1,800 students from Mott Haven, University Heights, and other neighborhoods in the Bronx. The network is growing from its current four elementary and two middle schools to five elementary and five middle schools educating some 4,000 students in the Bronx and Paterson, NJ. The Charter Management Organization (CMO) for Brilla Schools Network is Seton Education Partners, an organization inspired by the Catholic educational tradition, that also manages the Seton Teaching Fellows missionary program and El Camino, an after-school Catholic faith formation program. At the heart of the Seton educational mission is our dedication to help students become young men and women of good character and spirit who are prepared for excellence in high school, college, and beyond.

Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Recruitment and Enrollment Manager is to attract new families to Brilla and assist them in applying to our schools in order to meet student application and enrollment targets. The Enrollment Team members assist families in enrolling by helping them find their right Brilla school, answering questions, supporting them in completing an application, and giving families a great first experience. Additionally, the Recruitment and Enrollment Manager  will cultivate strong and positive relationships with community-based organization partners, daycares, businesses, and the community we serve.  The successful candidate will be a strong people person, as well as have the ability to work independently and expediently on project-based initiatives. They will have the drive and energy to thrive in a results-focused, no excuses, entrepreneurial environment. The Recruitment and Enrollment Manager will report to the Network Directors of Operations and collaborate with the Enrollment team, dedicated community partners - who are making a positive impact on the educational opportunities for underserved children. 

Core Competencies & Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Network Directors of Operations to design and execute purposeful and effective recruitment plans to meet or exceed application goals
• Lead engaging and informative school tours, open houses, information sessions, and events that maximize applicant enthusiasm
• Attend recruitment fairs and community events; prepare materials/staffing as needed
• Utilize promotional materials to attract new families; work with the Network Directors of Operations to help develop a strategic plan for marketing, including sourcing advertisement options, as needed
• Create, update, and deliver robust presentations to prospective families
• Assist in coordinating and running the new student lottery in compliance with State law
• Support Operations Leaders, as needed, in the school's enrollment process in its entirety: Notify families we received their application with a personal email, or letter, and/or phone call; conduct regular and ongoing outreach to applicants and families; extend seat offers to parents once the lottery is complete and actively manage the waitlist
• Assist in providing the vision and strategic direction for student recruitment management, marketing, and communication with the Network Directors of Operations
• Design, implement, and monitor the student recruitment plan, including student recruitment targets, student recruitment objectives, tactics, and strategies 
• Develop strategic community partnerships within Community School Districts 7, 8, 9, and 10 in addition to political leaders, as needed, to build mission-driven awareness
• Process and implement data management projects as needed
• Maintain and verify application data in SchoolMint, including tracking applications against goals
• Actively  engage families during summer months, per plans created in coordination with the Superintendent and Principals
• Collaborate with Community Relations Manager, Senior Director of Marketing and Engagement, and Director of Marketing 
• Manage Hubspot and other engagement systems by contacting and cultivating leads 
• Collaborate with Community Relations Manager to advise on enrollment related social media content
• Lead effective enrollment meetings for school-based Operations Staff 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years working experience in a customer service, sales, or admissions field
• Fluency in Spanish Required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong collection and analysis of data
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with admissions software or database ideal (i.e. Schoolmint and Hubspot), ideal
• Ability to work late evenings and weekends, as needed
• Flexible and willing to perform other duties as assigned

The base pay range for this position is $80,000-$95,000 per year. Pay may vary within the stated range, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus for some roles may be provided as part of the compensation package subject to executive leadership approval, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
