The Surface Based Effector Production is responsible to support the production and development of electrical subsystems used in our Land and Naval based programs. Our subsystems are subject to environments ranging from the frigid, sub-zero vacuum of space to the blistering heat of the desert floor, to the high pressures of the ocean depths. We are seeking entry-level candidates willing to collaborate, innovate, and team with our engineers to generate and utilize today’s cutting-edge technology in production environments that support missile assembly and test.
What You Will Do
Troubleshooting electronics in a lab or production environment
Performing system and circuit level analysis
Supporting failure investigations
Maintaining and creating documentation
Interacting with multi-discipline groups including suppliers
Qualifications You Must Have
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
Experience or coursework to include any of the following:
Radar systems design, system realization, or testing of RF and microwave radar systems.
Airborne radar guidance section production or development.
RF component design, analysis, fabrication, or troubleshooting.
RF laboratory equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, or network analyzers.
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
ABET is the preferred, although not required accreditation standard.
3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
System integration experience: system integration and development of test procedures for lab and site
Strong knowledge and understanding of analog RF components, ADC and DAC performances.
Familiarity with industry standard RF circuit design software and PCB layout
Excellent organizational, planning, and coordination skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Self-starter who can work independently.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures.
Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles.
