US Markets - Our multidisciplinary Active Wealth approach is structured around five core strategies and utilizes the same practices and discipline employed in institutional asset management. This helps ensure every financial decision actively and intentionally powers our clients' goals.  Invest, Protect, Manage, Borrow and Spend, these are our five core strategies that are the pillars of how we advise clients. This segment of BNY Wealth is focused on direct relationship management, investment management, estate planning and administration of High Net Worth Clients and their assets.  

Private Banking - Offering extensive cash management and credit solutions family offices need to invest and manage wealth. Sophisticated financing strategies include credit facilities to create liquidity for complex investment allocation strategies, secured and unsecured lending, hedging strategies, jumbo mortgages and more.

Fiduciary - ensures family trusts are administered the way they were intended.

Family Office - Services we offer include family governance, philanthropic advisory, technology consulting and trust planning. We also offer educational resources that include everything from financial education and leadership development to family succession planning, along with cyber, physical and personal risk best practices.

Service Delivery/Operations: provides operational support, outstanding client service and technical expertise to WM clients and internal colleagues in all aspects of the Investment Management and Private Banking accounts lifecycle.  Our team has significant industry knowledge, and we proactively approach operational situations in an agile and innovative manner. We deliver timely and effective execution, while always maintaining a risk-mitigating environment. Service Delivery has 400 employees primarily located on our Pittsburgh campus.

Program Eligibility: 

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business and technology, with specific emphasis on finance, economics, marketing, communication, and/or data analytics; however open to all majors with an individual interested in the financial services industry 
• Individuals who will be graduating in December 2024 through June 2025 
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better 
• Well-rounded experience including demonstrated leadership skills 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills 
• Not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the region where they apply.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $80,000 and $90,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
