2025 Entry Level - Aftermarket Modifications Engineer
Description
JOB SUMMARY :
Create structural repair and modification documentation including detailed repair instructions and substantiation analysis in support of FAA certification for all Textron Aviation Propeller and Jet aircraft models.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
+ Review damage data, Engineering Drawings and Digital Data to ensure efficient load path and adequate structural strength and stiffness for repairs and modifications.
+ Interface with Customers, Customer Service, and Service Center Personnel.
+ Coordinate cross functionally to support business needs.
+ Develop detailed repair installation procedures.
+ Provide Engineering recommendations for minor repair development and dispositions.
+ Develop Standard Repairs to be published in Field SRMs.
+ Analyze modification packages to ensure adequate structural strength and substantiate for certification requirements.
+ Utilize Finite Element Software to solve complex structural problems.
+ Prepare Structural Reports in support of FAA compliance findings on aircraft repairs and modifications.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE :
+ Bachelor’s degree required in:
- Aerospace Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Other related field
+ Less than 2 years of professional experience in a relevant role.
QUALIFICATIONS :
+ Professional and diplomatic demeanor
+ Strong sense of accountability and integrity
+ Time management skills to support multiple concurrent projects
+ Must be able to manage projects of various size and scope.
+ Must be proficient in MS Office and CATIA.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
+ Previous test experience preferred.
