Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Data Analysts support the development and optimization of strategic initiatives by generating actionable insights and recommendations from internal and external data. They support business growth by using business intelligence tools to mine complex data, identify historic trends, and visualize large datasets. Data Analysts play a critical role in data governance, helping to create and maintain data standards and quality. They have the opportunity to work closely with peers throughout the organization toward a vision of data driven strategy.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Data gathering and analysis
+ Develop and maintain data reports (PowerBi, Alteryx, and other tools)
+ Project management and status updates
+ Data governance
+ Participate in developing and implementing business processes and process improvements
+ Provide recommendations based on data to support business objectives
+ Internal customer interaction and support
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in:
+ Data Analytics
+ Mathematics
+ Statistics
+ Data Science
+ Management Information Systems
+ Computer Science
+ Engineering
+ Other related technical fields
Qualifications

+ Professional and diplomatic demeanor
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Action oriented and seizes opportunities
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Quickly grasps new concepts when faced with unfamiliar tasks
+ Technical Aptitude and skill set
+ Good business acumen and business process knowledge
+ Effectively utilizes time and organizes priorities well
+ Possesses good organizational and time management skills.
Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.
Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.
Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
