Responsibilities
Join State Farm's Agency Channel Performance department as a Technology Analyst Intern! In this role, you will champion the future of the agent experience by embracing emerging technology. Your main focus will be on promoting a customer omnichannel experience centered around State Farm agents. This exciting position involves making design decisions that impact multiple systems, requiring critical and creative thinking to achieve strategic objectives. Who We Are Looking For:
- Rising college juniors, seniors who are pursuing degrees in a related program, such as Business Strategy, Strategic/Organizational Communication, Business Management, or AI/related technologies.
Internship Program Eligibility:
- To be eligible for the summer internship program, you must be a full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program throughout the duration of the internship.

What You Can Expect:
- Summer Internship Dates: 5/19/2025-8/1/2025
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week
- Due to the short duration of the summer program, it is an expectation that hired interns will be available for the duration of the summer internship with little to no disruption in work schedule.
- Pay: $22.00/hour. In addition, interns selected for our summer internship program will be eligible for a $2,000 stipend (minus applicable taxes)!
- Work Arrangement:
- Selected interns should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment. Please note that relocation benefits will not apply.
- Selected interns must reside within the continental U.S. for the duration of the summer internship.

In this role, you will:
- Understand State Farm agents' day-to-day environment and leverage technology and data to enhance their success.
- Identify impactful opportunities to achieve business outcomes.
- Advocate for agency interests in developing digital capabilities for stronger agent experiences in an omnichannel relationship.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with various business partners to design, deliver, and advocate for strategic agent experiences.
This opportunity will focus on the following areas:
- Modernize Life/Health product line and advocate for agency voice in strategic planning.
- Enhance claims process and analytics studio experience for agents with technology-driven enhancements.
- Collaborate on Enterprise Customer Relationship Management (ECRM) projects.
- Identify tech opportunities and optimize agent engagement for small business customers.
- Improve auto and/or fire systems' technical solutions using data and research.
- Develop solutions to enhance agent billing and payment experiences.
- Collaborate on digital tools and business management initiatives for agents.

Qualifications
Preferred skills/experience:
- Enrolled in a related program, such as Business Strategy, Strategic/Organizational Communication, Business Management, or AI/related technologies.
- Recognized as a leader among peers, able to influence without authority.
- Strong network and relationship building skills for effective communication, issue escalation, and identifying opportunities.
- Strategic execution ability to implement plans aligning with department and organizational goals.
- Understanding of product's role in the end-to-end experience and ability to identify impacts on business partners and other Channel Performance teams.
- Experience in product discovery, user experience design, and analytics.
- Proficiency in using data and metrics to generate business requirements and influence decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders at various levels.
- Maintaining technical acumen and business knowledge to build credibility with Enterprise Technology partners.
- Collaboration with product lead and stakeholders to understand, analyze, document, and communicate product vision and requirements.
- Utilization of product, process, and business domain knowledge throughout the solution lifecycle.
