Are you ready to join the industry leader? State Farm is looking for passionate students to join our Summer Internship Program! The Enterprise Technology department is involved in exploring new and emerging technologies. This program will offer you hands-on work along with real-world research and development opportunities. State Farm continues to refine and expand the use of technology for employees, agents, and customers.
As a Finance Intern on the ET Finance team, you will have the opportunity to perform financial analysis that is relied upon by department leaders in making decisions. As a top Fortune 50 company, we hire the best - we cannot wait for you to join our team!
We Are Looking For The Following:
- Pursuing degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or equivalent majors
- 12 hours or more of relevant coursework in accounting or finance before the start of the internship
- Drive and initiative to lead and affect positive change
- Leadership skills through extracurricular and professional endeavors
- Ability to thrive in a team environment, both in-person and virtual
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- A can-do attitude, and someone who loves to have a bit of fun!
- The ability to work in an environment that emphasizes information sharing, collaboration, teamwork, mutual respect, and integrity.
- Experience with Microsoft Office to perform data analysis and data visualization

Internship Program Eligibility:
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old by the start date of the internship, which includes current or graduating high school students or current college students. Students who apply MUST be returning to school for at least one semester following the summer internship.
- Selected interns must reside within the continental U.S. for the duration of the summer internship.

What You Can Expect:
- The internship will occur between May 19, 2025 – August 1, 2025
- We will host in-person onboarding in Bloomington, IL
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week
- Due to the short duration of the summer program, it is an expectation that hired interns will be available for the duration of the summer internship with little to no disruption in work schedule.
- Pay: $28.00/hour. In addition, interns selected for our summer internship program will be eligible for a $2,000 stipend!
- Work Arrangement:
- Remote: Qualified candidates (outside of locations listed below) may be considered for 100% remote work arrangements based on where a candidate currently resides or is currently located. Remote interns could be asked to travel to an assigned location throughout the summer for onboarding and various events.
- Hybrid: Qualified candidates (in or within 180-mile radius of the locations listed above) should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid environment.
- HUB LOCATIONS: Dunwoody, GA; Richardson, TX; Tempe, AZ;or Bloomington, IL
