The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You will be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!

Responsibilities:



+ Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills


+ Increase technology knowledge and skills


+ Develop team-based work proficiencies


+ Develop interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities


+ We plan to work on the NextGen Data Capture where we will be developing:


+ Vision Wedge - A new way to empower customer to get Scanning/AI capabilities on their Android Devices


+ Vision SDK - To empower the customer with full set of APIs to develop their own application for Scanning/AI capabilities


+ ZIDE - Zebra Integrated Development Environment (Cloud Based Tool)


+ Support For Zebra Scripting Language


+ Working with CTO and External Teams to integrate Zebra grown SDKs support through Vision Wedge/Vision SDK





THIS IS A HYBRID INTERNSHIP LOCATED IN HOLTSVILLE, NY. THE EXPECTATION IS AT LEAST 3 DAYS OF IN-OFFICE ATTENDANCE.


Qualifications:


Minimum Qualifications:



+ Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Engineering (Computer Science/ Electronics & Communication) or comparable


+ Must have an anticipated graduation date between Bachelors- May 2025 OR working towards a MS/MA with graduation date between 2025-2027.


+ Strong C/C++/JAVA Programming Skills


+ Strong STL/Data Structure fundamentals


+ Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future






Preferred Qualifications:



+ Development experience on Linux and/or Android


+ Computer Vision / Machine Learning experience


+ Working knowledge of Python


+ Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow


+ Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences


+ Ability to collaborate as part of a team


+ Effective verbal and written communication skills

Salary: USD 31.00 - USD 38.00 Yearly



Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.
