Sales Internship Program
Gibson is looking for a qualified intern to assist our sales teams by applying knowledge of risk management principles to real-world experience. The intern will assist with a wide range of duties, including market research, identifying new business opportunities, developing and participating in sales campaigns, and generating leads. You’ll gain hands-on experience working on challenging, meaningful projects with guidance from a mentor and other members of our team. Additionally, a successful internship can pave the way toward employment with our organization after graduation!
Our internship program will run from May 27 through August 1, 2025 and will be based out of our Indianapolis, Indiana location.
Sales Duties and Responsibilities
- Research and generate lists of potential clients in our target market
- Build prospect lists and qualify prospects
- Updating documents and sales records
- Provide input on marketing materials and presentations
- Observing and carrying out our sales process
- Review and audit current policies
- Prepare client presentations and communications
- Provide input on client presentations and client lifecycle process
- Learn and apply risk management techniques
- Assist sales teams
Ideal Internship Candidate
- Junior-Level Business or Risk Management Major
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Employs excellent communication skills and enjoys working in a team environment
- Loves digging into all the details
- Passionate self-starter who tackles projects head on
- Enjoys developing skills and learning something new each day
