Qualifications
Minimum
1. High school diploma or GED and 2 years office experience
2. Demonstrated customer services and interpersonal communications skills
3. Well developed verbal and written communication skills
4. Strong organizational and planning skills Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures
5. Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures
6. Knowledge of confidentiality/privacy policies and FERPA regulations
7. Advanced phone skills and ability to effectively relate via the telephone and in-person
8. Ability to handle a fast-paced environment, accommodate changing needs of SHCS and prioritize tasks based on importance
9. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as within a broader team
Preferred Qualifications
1. Prior administrative experience in a university-based health and counseling setting
2. Completion of a certificate program
3. Knowledge of medical and counseling terminology
