245D Compliance Specialist - Pathways to Community

About the Job
We are seeking an organized and energetic person with a strong background in 245D and CRS licensing to support our operations team at Pathways to Community. In this new role as the Compliance Specialist, you will:
- Complete 245D and CRS licensing paperwork.
- Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation.
- Develop a plan of action to address compliance issues and ensure compliance with 245D and CRS regulations and hold employees accountable to the plan and the deadlines.
- Create detailed standard operating procedures, forms, materials, etc. to address gaps and to ensure their effectiveness.
- Prepare management reports regarding compliance operations and progress.
- Create training materials to train team members and ensure longevity/stability.
- Provide employee training on compliance related topics, policies, or procedures.
- Disseminate written policies and procedures related to compliance activities and tasks.
- Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends, or best practices. Make recommendations to the Leadership Team as needed for revisions to policies or standard operating procedures.
- Locates, reads, understands, and lives all PTC core values, policies, procedures, and forms.
- Promotes a culture that reflects the organization’s values and encourages good performance and collaboration.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Pathways to Community requires the following qualifications:
- Must meet requirements to be considered a Designated Coordinator under MN Statute 245D.
- Subject matter expert in MN Statutes 245A, C, and D as well as CRS regulations.
- Willingness to provide hands on support to assist in the preparation of a program site for CRS licensing, including cleaning and organizing.
- Demonstrates innovation by being creative and altering thinking to develop new ideas for and answers to work-related problems.
- Ability to read, write and speak English at a level that meets the performance requirements.
- Strong receptive and expressive communication skills.
- Must possess a strong attention to detail and a high level of independence in managing role and tasks assigned.
- Possess a valid driver’s license, proof of liability insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to pass criminal/registry background check.
Although this position is primarily Monday through Friday, it is subject to flexible hours and varied hours depending on the needs of the organization. This position requires the incumbent to possess, carry, and utilize a smart phone. This position will have a designated spot at the main office. However, this position does requires traveling to and from program sites to perform work related tasks.
