About us:
Seatown Veterinary Care is a private practice that was opened in 2016 by Dr. Kari Emery, who is a lifelong Seattle-area local. We are currently seeking a full-time or part-time LVT/RVT/CVT (Licensed/Registered/Certified Veterinary Technician) to join the team and we are offering $25-$35/hour. Join our expanding practice! We currently have a small footprint but are in the process of building a newer and larger facility that will still be in Greenwood. We currently have 4 Veterinarians, 2 Licensed Veterinary Technicians, 4 Veterinary Assistants, 5 Veterinary Receptionists, and 1 Veterinary Practice Manager. We are a very busy clinic with a Practice Owner and Practice Manager willing to give hands-on help, assist, and offer mentorship. Job Summary:
The primary purpose of the position is to provide quality veterinary medical care to our clients while working in a team environment to ensure that all staff members are aware of the process and tasks needed to provide quality care. The LVT/CVT/RVT will also be responsible for providing medical and dental care to our clients and patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in Veterinary medicine and have strong skills in seeing appointments, assisting in surgery, and performing dental cleanings. Open availability Monday-Saturday is a requirement of this position. The goal is that all team members only work one Saturday per month, though sometimes that is not possible due to sickness, vacation time, etc.
The ideal candidate will hold themselves to a very high standard, that will match the elevated standard of patient care that we offer to clients at Seatown. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written will be required for this position. We use Covetrus Pulse as our in-house practice management software. All members of the team must utilize excellent time management skills while showing empathy, kindness, and compassion towards our clients, patients, and team members. We look forward to meeting you!
