About the Job
Our client is looking for a Manager of Field Sales to be based near Boston, MA. This person will use their sales management skills to develop and motivate a field sales team. They will use their strong sales management background (coaching, mentoring, forecasting, etc.) to help drive sales and new business. They must be results driven, hands-on, strategic in nature, and with a strong track record of success.

Total Estimated Compensation (estimation based on LST market data): $200,000 - $300,000 plus expenses and benefits
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline
- Field Sales Management experience within the Analytical or Life Science marketplaces, i.e., coaching, mentoring, forecasting, lead funnel management, hiring, activity reporting, etc.
- Capital equipment sales experience
- Experience selling into scientific research (academic, biotech, pharma), biopharmaceutical QA/QC, food and beverage manufacturing, testing, environmental testing, or oil and gas
- Must be hands-on, driven, and strategic in nature
- Team player
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience within a Matrix environment is a plus
- Must be okay with overnight travel
- Based in or near Boston, MA
