About the Job
Our client is seeking a Strategic Key Accounts Manager to cover the NYC, PA territory. This Sales Manager will be responsible for strategically growing new business and expanding business within their assigned customer base. Must have experience calling into academic research accounts, from the lab up to C-suite. They will use their consultative, strategic sales approach to grow business using a “top down” sales approach. Team focused, strategic, relationship builder style is key to having success in this role.

Total Estimated Compensation (estimation based on LST market data): $180,000 - $200,000 at plan plus excellent benefits
Requirements:
- B.S. degree (in the sciences A PLUS)
- Life Science sales experience within the NYC, PA academic research market
- Must thrive in a fast paced environment
- Experience selling into academic research - from the lab up to C- Suite
- Must be strategic – will develop territory by building relationships with customers
- Positive, multi-tasker, self-motivated, and team-player
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A PLUS – exposure to animal research models, services, in vivo, and software
- No issues with travel - ability to conduct face to face meetings with customers and prospects within the NYC, PA market
- You decide when travel to your accounts is necessary in order to be successful
- Based in driving distance to NYC
