2ND & 3RD SHIFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN'S NEEDED - FT. WAYNE, INDIANA
A Leading Automotive Supplier in the Ft. Wayne, Indiana area is in need of 2nd & 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician's. These are Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Positions offering Competitive Hourly Compensation, Off Shift Premium, Paid Vacation and Good Benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must adhere to all safety practices, policies & procedures
- Machine diagnostics / trouble-shooting & repair
- Machine installation & set up procedures
- Perform welding & fabrication as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM s) procedures related to all manufacturing equipment
- Machine/equipment rebuilds
- Perform all facility-related repairs and/or project work as assigned
- Responsible for completing and turning in all maintenance related documentation including but not limited to daily log sheets for TPM s and all required Control Plans and Downtime logs
- Coordinate with other resources (Supervisors/Managers) time, material and equipment required to perform necessary work as needed
- Must be self-driven, with minimal supervision
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 to 3 Years of experience with Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical & Welding. Preferring Candidates with excellent trouble-shooting / problem solving skills & experience.
- Post secondary diploma from a technical college is preferred in Robotic Welding, Electro-Mechanical, or Automation.
- Ability to troubleshoot both Electrical and Mechanical issues.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in an Automotive Manufacturing Plant.
- Must have very strong PLC Skills.
- Experience working with Motoman & Fanuc Robots and Allen Bradley PLC s.
- Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Strong problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to read Blueprints.
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees in the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
