Key Responsibilities:
Corrective Maintenance:
- Perform highly skilled mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other repairs as necessary to equipment and buildings.
- Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
- Perform and close out tasks in SAP-PM GUI & Fiori.
Preventative Maintenance:
- Perform timely inspection and preventative maintenance per defined procedures for Production equipment and buildings.
- Modify and document equipment procedures as necessary.
- Training personnel as necessary.
- Verification that tasks are properly closed in SAP-PM.
Program Assistance:
- Assist Facilities, Engineering and R&D with equipment related projects by using skilled labor in performing key activities.
- Development of equipment spare parts inventory.
Project Management:
- Lead and coordination of tasks with outside contractors and vendors for small size projects
On Call/Call Back:
- Rotation of “On Call” duties for repair and maintenance of the equipment and facility items with other assigned staff. “Call Back” for maintenance related duties during off hours that cannot be adequately covered by the “On Call” person alone.
Education:
- Associates Degree in automotive technology, industrial/electrical technology, facility/equipment maintenance, or related field. Preferred
- Or equivalent trade school certification. Preferred
- Or equivalent extensive work experience. Preferred
Experience:
- Broad knowledge of various trades.
- Certified stationary engineering license.
- (5) years’ experience in plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or related trades.
- Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude. Required
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to manage time efficiently and reliably. Required
- Good communications skills both written and verbal. Preferred
- Attention to detail and proficient/accurate with documentation. Preferred
- Proficient in the use of computers including use of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Required
- Understanding of and experience utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software. Preferred
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Required
- Physical ability to: work overhead, in confined spaces, and at heights; lift and carry up to 35 pounds; climb/descend stairs/ladders; and dexterity to work on intricate/complex assemblies. Required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and/or push/pull up to 250 pounds on occasion. Required
Schedule: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday
