2nd Shift - Test Driver Foreman - Hyster-Yale

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented 2nd Shift -Test Driver Foremanbased at our manufacturing facilitylocatedinGreenville, North Carolina. 

What you will do: 

• Lead & Supervise:Manage a team of test drivers, overseeing daily operations and ensuringaccurateperformance logs aremaintainedfor test trucks. 

• Coordinate & Communicate:Work closely with supervisors and engineers to plan and execute driving activities, ensuring seamless operation and data collection. 

• Perform Maintenance & Repairs:Conduct basic truck repairs andassistwith the setup and operation of test instruments. 

• Maintain Facilities:Ensure the test track and related areas meet safety and 5S standards,maintaininga clean and organized environment. 

• Train & Develop Team:Provide training and development opportunities for your team, evaluating performance and making necessary adjustments to improve efficiency and safety. 

Who you are: 

• Detail-Oriented Leader:You have strong leadership skills with a focus on safety and team development, ensuringaccurateand thorough performance logs and test results. 

• Technically Skilled:Youpossessmechanical skills and have experience withtestequipment and instrument setup and usage. 

• Effective Communicator:You can coordinate and communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and your team to ensure smooth operations. 

• Organized & Reliable:You are organized, capable of managing personnel and ensuring that the test track and facilities are well-maintained to company standards. 

What you will need: 

• Education:High school diploma or equivalent. 

• Experience:At least ten years of shop or industrial experience with a minimum of two years in a leadership role. 

Skills, Experience & Abilities       

• Mechanical Skills:Proficient in basic truck repairs and maintenance. 

• Leadership:Experience in supervising and managing a team, including scheduling, assignment of work, and performance evaluations. 

• Organizational Skills:Strong organizational skills, including personnel management andmaintainingfacilities to industry standards. 

• Technical Proficiency:Familiarity with test equipment and instruments, including setup and usage.
