We are seeking a dynamic and well versed 2nd Shift Maintenance Lead to join our high-performing team in the Engineering industry. This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment, and who enjoys the challenge of ensuring that our production equipment and systems are running at their optimal capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the maintenance team on the second shift, ensuring all preventative and corrective maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
1. Leading a team of maintenance technicians on the second shift, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard and in a timely manner.
2. Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a range of production equipment, including Siemens, Rockwell, and Allen Bradley systems.
3. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with equipment, including electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
4. Maintaining and repairing conveyor systems, ensuring they are running at their optimal capacity.
5. Developing and implementing maintenance procedures and schedules, ensuring they align with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
6. Training and mentoring junior members of the team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
7. Working closely with other departments, including production and quality control, to ensure the smooth running of the facility.
8. Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe manner, adhering to all company and regulatory safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance lead role in the engineering industry.
2. Extensive experience with a range of production equipment, including Siemens, Rockwell, and Allen Bradley systems.
3. Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues with electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
4. Experience with conveyor systems, including maintenance and repair.
5. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team of maintenance technicians effectively.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with team members and other departments.
7. A strong understanding of safety guidelines and procedures in the engineering industry.
8. A relevant qualification in engineering or a related field would be advantageous.
