2nd Shift - Maintenance Technician at NSC Staffing

NSC Staffing is current hiring for 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician in Peru, IN.

We are seeking a dedicated, career-oriented Maintenance Technician who is ready to affect change and set things in motion in our Peru, IN manufacturing facility.

A typical “Day-in-the Life” involves following preventative maintenance plans for equipment as scheduled and troubleshooting and repairing process equipment; supporting 5S implementation through program participation and project work as well as performing facility maintenance as necessary.

Candidate “Must Haves”:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or certification in a technical discipline or military equivalent.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and experience troubleshooting and maintaining complex process equipment.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical and pneumatic repairs and maintenance on process/automated equipment.
• Knowledge and or experience working with engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Knowledge of relevant OSHA safety standards.
• Strong communication, mechanical and mathematic skills.
• Ability and knowledge required to work safely with various hazardous materials, and chemicals.

Candidate “Nice to Haves”:

• Experience working in an ISO-certified environment
• Skilled in 5S and other Lean manufacturing principles

Shift:  Monday through Friday
Shift 2 = 3:30pm-midnight    Able/willing to work overtime if needed.
