In this position…
We are looking for a 3D Visual Designer to join the ADAS and Driver Information team within Digital Product Design at Ford. We are creating a best-in-class interface that will enhance our customers’ driving experience across autonomous driving levels. You will work closely with product designers, product managers, and engineers to bring this to life.
What you'll do…
+ Collaborate cross-functionally to create innovative and highly crafted 3D renderings and animation
+ Concept and create 3D elements from idea to final deliverable
+ Support motion design by providing high-fidelity rendered graphics
+ Translate 2D designs to high-fidelity 3D content to development teams for seamless implementation
+ Utilize software skills in 3D software Maya, Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop & After Effects)
You'll have…
+ Bachelors Degree, or educational/experience equivalent, in Graphic Design, Drafting/Design, 2D/3D Animation, etc.
+ Maya (2-3 years experience)
+ Adobe Software (2-3 years experience)
Even better, you may have…
+ Experience in 3D modeling, unwrapping, and animation in Maya, will consider similar toolset
+ Experience with Figma and ProtoPie
+ Strong collaboration, communication, multi-tasking, and organization skills
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
+ Knowledge of the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
+ Previous automotive experience is a plus.
+ Proven creative work experience in digital product design solutions
