Adecco is currently recruiting for Production Associates to work third shift in Northbridge, Massachusetts. This position is temp-to-hire as follows:
Overnight Sunday: 2 AM – 7AM (ending Monday Morning)
Overnight Monday: 11 PM to 7 AM
Overnight Tuesday: 11 PM to 7 AM
Overnight Wednesday: 11 PM to 7 AM
Overnight Thursday: 11 PM to 7 AM (ending Friday morning)
Additional 3 hours can be worked at the end of any shift in order to reach 40 hours for the week. Hourly pay for this role is $17.50, including base and shift differential.
This position packs product via a conveyor into drying racks, cardboard boxes or bins containing plastic bags. Packs finished products obtained from drying racks or storage boxes into plastic bags or cardboard boxes.

Requirements:
- High School diploma; must be able to do simple math.
- 3-6 months’ experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Frequently required to stand and walk during an 8-hour shift.
- Frequently required to reach, bend, squat, stretch, and twist.
- Will lift and/or carry bulky objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to work efficiently and repetitively with hands and have physical strength, stamina, and coordination to perform duties.
- Must be available to work overtime as necessary.
- Will work in a dusty and sometimes wet environment as well as cold/hot/humid areas based on the seasons.
Responsibilities:
- Removes product from conveyor belt and places product into drying racks, boxes, or bags.
- Packs product into drying racks, boxes or bags.
- Using heavy-duty tape machines, cuts tape and wraps product for storage delivery.
- Lifts and removes completed boxes or bags and places on/in designated location, wagon or pallet.
- Receives verbal and written job assignments; reads and complies with product description and packing instructions on Quality/Production Data sheet.
- Completes “Operator Production/Quality Report,” packing report, worksheets and/or “special” customer requirement inspection forms where required.
- Performs visual inspections and/or uses measuring devices such as scales, steel rule and calipers to ensure acceptable finished product quality. Notifies supervisor of discrepancies, and records required information on Operator Quality Report.
- Inventories tape, labeling, bags, boxes, or drying racks and notifies Material Handler of items needed to get the job done.
- Observes machine operation to detect any defects with finished product and notifies Supervisor of any problems.
- Maintains good housekeeping and assures a neat and organized work area at all times.
- May assist with material handling.
- May assist others with less experience in a position.
- Perform other duties as required by Supervisor requiring the same skills.
