The role involves pursuing collections from insurance companies until payments are completed. The specialist will also handle various tasks related to insurance billing.

Job Duties:

• Submit and resubmit insurance claims.
• Obtain necessary medical documentation.
• Follow up on unpaid claims.
• Ensure timely filing of claims.
• Collaborate with medical staff for accurate reporting.
• Stay updated on insurance billing changes.
• Post insurance remittance vouchers.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Review new accounts for billing.
• Complete tasks within timeframes.
• Support hospital mission, values, and policies.

Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of collection methods, medical insurance, and billing guidelines.

Qualifications:
