General Summary:
Performs typical machine shop and mold press operations to support production. 3rd shift hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00 pm to 6:30 am.

Performs typical machine shop and mold press operations to support production. 3rd shift hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00 pm to 6:30 am.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs milling, turning, drilling, tapping, and de-burring tasks.
- Assists with machine set-up.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
- Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines.
- Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:
- Competent in various machine functions.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Use and be familiar with assembly and measuring tools.
- Ability to perform simple shop math.
- High School Diploma or GED, vocational training desired.
- At least one year experience in a factory machine shop.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Alternate education and experience considered based on individual candidate.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Computer Skills:
Basic PC skills (non-programming)
Physical Demands:
- Most of the work accomplished while standing, although some sitting is involved.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Appropriate safety gear must be word as needed.
- Standing, up to 2 hours per workday
Work performed in a shop environment.
