Job DescriptionHours and Shift - 11pm-7am Sunday-Thursday
Salary: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
We are looking for an energetic, safety, and detail-oriented Operations Manager to join our high performing team of warehousing and logistics professionals.
This position, which reports to the business specific Operations Leader, will serve as a key customer contact for the warehousing facility. The Operations Manager is also responsible for successful day-to-day management of safety, delivery, and inventory accuracy.
This person also coordinates the flow within the facility to ensure customer delivery goals are met. The Operations Manager must successfully adhere to the organization’s level of customer service based on corporate mission and values. Includes budgetary / financial responsibility for their assigned area.
This core values driven professional also works hand in hand with department specific operations managers to ensure safety, quality, and operations initiatives are carried out during the off shifts and will be accountable for operations managers' responsibilities on 3rd shift across the warehouse.
Our chosen professional will also maintain a meeting calendar which will include and not be limited to daily shift meetings, stand downs for safety and quality alerts; We also look to this individual to coordinate staffing and disciplinary actions in coordination with the HR department, enforce and maintain a Platinum standard of PPE and other warehouse policy compliance, and maintain attendance records for 3rd shift.
Regular hours for the position will be Sunday - Thursday from 10PM - 7:00AM but this leader will be expected be available outside of work hours to call into meeting with leadership for a weekly touch base or as needed. May be expected to work weekend hours if plant demands call for it.

Qualifications- Customer satisfaction through on-time delivery of product and information – 24/7.
- Responsible for 100% On-Time delivery of product every hour, every day.
- Manages warehousing operations within company policies and procedures.
- Manages material flow within warehouse/store locations.
- Ensures accuracy and addresses issues within the receiving process.
- Maintains and tracks warehouse budget and expenses.
- Maintains delivery window and frequency to customer’s requirements.
- Accountable for cycle counting/inventory accuracy.
- Establishes and maintains a positive customer relationship.
- Conducts employee performance reviews.
- Participates in developing the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Responsible for safety, quality and driving improvements within the facility.
Competencies:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office production and inventory management systems (APICS certification, a plus)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team-oriented
- Capability to meet deadlines and deal with emergencies
- Ability to lead and coach effectively
- Ability to analyze data and process flows

Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management or other related fields
- 2-5 years as Operations or Warehouse manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
This individual is responsible for customer satisfaction through on time delivery of product every hour of every day 24/7 and will manage the material flow within the warehouse.
Establishes and maintains a positive customer relationship.
Conducts employee performance reviews.
Participates in developing the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
Responsible for safety, quality and driving improvements within the facility.
The ideal candidate will be responsible and accountable for ensuring best practices (standard of work, shift start meetings, metrics dashboards) as well as safety policies and procedures are followed and always maintained by the operations staff.
The Operations Manager will oversee maintaining of warehouse delivery set ups (hot orders, dock delivery, inventory transactions), participate in the development of the AOP, and ensures accuracy while addressing issues the receiving process.
This leader will naturally and successfully adhere to the organization’s level of customer service based on corporate mission and values as well as demonstrating the organizational core value set at all times.

Must have a strong background in warehousing and logistics with a clear understanding of industry standards
Must have a strong authentic skills a culturally aware etiquette, a proven track record in accountability of teams, and the ability to coach while motivating teams.
Must have good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, drivers, and other team members in person and on the telephone.
They must be customer service-oriented as well as team-oriented and must have good organizational skills. A successful warehouse team member must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Finally, they must be able to work a flexible schedule when needed to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
