Are you passionate about overseeing and managing production operations? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 2nd Shift Production Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent role that requires a strong commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing and packaging operations during the second shift, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) regulations.
Responsibilities:
As a 2nd Shift Production Manager, you will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the second shift production team, ensuring that all manufacturing and packaging tasks are completed accurately and on time.
2. Implement and enforce compliance with GMP and HACCP regulations, ensuring that all products are manufactured and packaged according to the highest quality and safety standards.
3. Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring that all production goals are met.
4. Coordinate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance and Supply Chain, to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly.
5. Train, mentor, and supervise production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
6. Continuously monitor production processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
7. Handle any production-related issues or emergencies that may arise during the second shift.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Packaging and Production Manager in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven knowledge and experience with GMP and HACCP regulations.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and handle production-related issues effectively.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and other departments.
6. Solid organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet production goals.
7. A commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency in all aspects of production management.
