About the Job
DCS Corp has an immediate opening for a Test Engineer supporting the USRL and 513th Electronic Warfare Squadron.
Essential Job Functions:
The Test Engineer will work with other members of the test team and provide lead functions for: Test execution, data collection and reduction, data analysis, and test reporting. This performance will be in support F-35 Mission Data verification and validation efforts in both laboratory and flight test settings. The ideal candidate's responsibilities will include:
Participate in test execution, data collection and reduction, data analysis, and test reporting.
Develop test objectives, test methods, and test procedures.
Develop specific data requirements, and data collection tools.
Coordinate with test support agencies and ranges.
Analyze and evaluate test results and creating comprehensive test reports.
Troubleshoot and evaluate test deficiencies, determine root causes, determine problem remedies.
Develop and maintain F-35 test technical documentation.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required for most positions.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Bachelor Degree in engineering, computer science, or other technical/science discipline from an accredited university plus 5 years of relevant experience.
Must be a self-starter who is willing and able to work in a team environment.
Must be detail oriented and a critical thinker.
Must have good communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills. Able to write up concise documentation such as test procedures, test results, and reports, etc.
Must be able to accomplish assignments/tasks with minimal supervision.
Must have good office computer skills, most especially Microsoft Excel.
Desired Skills:
Familiarization with Air Force and/or Navy test processes and regulations.
Knowledge of electronic warfare systems.
