- Night shift, 8p - 6a , with great shift differentials

Performs all functions of pharmaceutical care including medication and IV orders. Evaluates for appropriate drug, dose, allergies, interactions, and incompatibilities. Monitors levels of therapeutic drugs. Performs and supervises computer data entry related to patient profile. Monitors all medication dispensing for accuracy. Supervises filling of all prescriptions and provides appropriate patient counseling. Collects and analyzes data for process improvement projects. Performs in-service to community and support groups. Performs other duties as assigned. May be required to work alternate shifts. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Program
Hospital Pharmacy experience or residency preferred
Certification and Licensure
Wisconsin/Illinois Registered Pharmacist License or eligible
Skills and Abilities
Excellent interpretive/analytical skills for pharmaceutical applications
Strong accuracy skills
Computer experience

Level of Supervision
Work requires a moderate level of independent judgment along with good interpretative and interpersonal skills with justification and accountability to Supervisor, Manager, and Director.
Supervises
This position supervises technicians. This position is involved in the recruitment and orientation process and provides performance feedback and input for performance evaluation purposes. May implement coaching, counseling, and corrective action when needed.
