Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for numbers? We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk (AP Clerk) to join our dynamic team at a well respected, family owned roofing company.

What You'll Do:

As our AP Clerk, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly. Your contributions will be essential to our daily success and the overall efficiency of our practice.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

• Willingness and capability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 3+ years of related experience or equivalent thereof.

PLUS:

• Education & Experience: A high school diploma or GED is required, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
• QuickBooks guru!

Your Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing: Accurately process invoices and payments in a timely manner.
• Expense Management: Oversee expense accounts and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Vendor Account Management: Organize and manage vendor accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Communication: Keep your teammates involved and in the know.
• Expense Report Review: Carefully handle and review expense reports with attention to detail.
• Reconciliation Tasks: Verify entries and compare system reports to balances, ensuring everything is accurate.
• Record Keeping: Maintain historical records by filing documents appropriately.
• Sales Tax Reporting: Calculate sales tax requirements on paid invoices.
• Team Collaboration: Contribute to the overall mission of the company by completing related tasks as needed.
