As an A&P Lead (Crew Chief), you will:
- Lead and supervise a maintenance crew of 3-6 technicians through all levels of Gulfstream scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to include: 12/24/36/72 month inspections, 5000 landing inspections, engine changes and discrepancy trouble shooting. At times will work multiple aircraft.
- Manage labor hours, materials and crew members efficiently.
- Responsible for the on-time completion of their work orders while maintaining attention to detail, excellent customer service and quality workmanship.
- Work with the Shop Foreman, keeps customers up to date on the status of their aircraft. As time permits, learns on the job the duties and responsibilities of the Shop Foreman.
- Work with Human Resources, participates in the interviewing and selection of their staff. Write and deliver effective employee performance evaluations and conducts counseling sessions with crew members as needed.
- Responsible for the on-going development and training of their staff.

Position Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years Gulfstream maintenance experience any model GII through G550
performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to include: 12/24/36/72 month
inspections, able to perform engine run up. - Airframe and Powerplant License Required, high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must qualify as an Inspector.
- 1 year supervisory experience required.
- Basic knowledge of operating a personal computer or laptop.
- Knowledge of job-specific machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and
maintenance. - Capable of repairing machines or systems using the needed tools
- Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
- Able to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of
maintenance is needed. - Capable of determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
- Able to perform tests and inspections of products, services or processes to evaluate quality or
performance. - Able to install equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications
- Ability to control operations of equipment or systems
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative
solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. - Able to monitor gauges, dials or other indicators to make sure a machine is working
properly.

Salary: $55-70 per hour, depending on experience
