Basic Job Functions:
The Accounting Supervisor/Manager will serve as a key member of the
division leadership at American Buildings Company IL. Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to:
- Manage, develop, and lead the Accounting Department in the analysis
and delivery of timely and accurate financial information.

- Lead the Accounting Department in the implementation and monitoring
of internal controls and facilitate external audits.

- Work closely with management in the analysis of financial,
operational, and key performance metrics to assist in the business
decision-making process for the division.

- Engage with other members of the Leadership Team to foster strong
collaboration, transparency, and teamwork within the division.

- Collaborate with the Accounting Team to develop effective,
efficient, and repeatable processes that produce results within the
department.

- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in the areas of financial
reporting, accounting practices, and business analysis.

- Perform special projects as assigned.

```
- Foster an environment that promotes Nucor's culture and encourages
continuous improvement.

candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead,
and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping
standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Administration.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
- Minimum 1 year of leadership/supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Dynamics 365 experience.
