Responsibilities/Duties
- Research new opportunities in the US and Canada, analyzing the overall crypto market in the region and assisting with initial outreach.
- Understand Figment's business, reviewing leads and qualifying potential opportunities to curate prospects and build qualified leads into the sales funnel.
- Drive business growth and sell Figment's staking services across all networks.
- Contribute to achieving and exceeding sales targets including growing number of new customers by vertical, assets staked & revenue earned.
- Assist with relationship management, provide onboarding, account management and support for customers post sale, throughout the implementation and staking lifecycle.
- Build and improve sales collateral to support pitches.
- Assist with inbound customer requests, track and help resolve customer pain points and queries.
- Drive customer satisfaction practices to increase retention and drive upsell opportunities.
- Advocate for customer needs within the organization, working closely with product development, sales and support teams, and share trends and feedback.
- Work with Customer Success to help keep customers informed about product updates, new features, and industry best practices.
- Assist with competitor analysis in the region to better understand the differences in products and services being offered by staking providers in the region.
- Help attend and coordinate events throughout the region as appropriate.
- Partner closely with global team members to ensure operational excellence and that Figment's brand and values are positively reflected.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience, selling into Asset Managers (VC's, Hedge Funds, Fin. Tech, Financial Institutions), preferably from a Digital Assets standpoint.
- Crypto/blockchain experience with a familiarity of protocol staking and the blockchain ecosystem.
- Past success of working with monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Demonstrated success meeting/exceeding quarterly and annual new business sales targets and scaling a fintech sales initiative.
- Proven track record of filling the sales funnel with qualified leads and nurturing those leads through the sales cycle.
- Proven track record of inbound/outbound lead generation and filling the sales funnel with qualified leads and/or experience managing and maintaining customer relationships.
- Success in driving customer expansion and advocating internally for customers' unique needs.
- Experience using CRM tools to track leads and new opportunities.
- Self-starter who is excited at the prospect of growing a business in a fast developing sector. Someone who is ready to get involved with every stage of the sales cycle
- Pragmatic and solutions-oriented: always looking for more efficient and effective ways to do things.
- Results oriented individual with a high EQ and love working with a growing team.
- Track record of customer advocacy. This is an evolving space and you will be on the front lines.

Base Salary: The CAD base salary range for this position is CAD $85,000 - $125,000. The US base salary range for this position is USD $85,000 - $125,000. This range reflects base salary only, and does not include additional compensation or benefits. For candidates in other countries, the pay range will be disclosed upon your first interview with Figment (being a globally remote company, the list of salary ranges would simply be too long to note here!). The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across all Canada or the US. A candidate's specific pay within the range will be determined by various factors including job-related skills, relevant education, and training.
