POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing high-quality substance abuse counseling to Human Services clients at various levels of treatment...Substance abuse counselor certification/license preferred. Associate degree required, bachelor’s preferred. Bilingual preferred but not required. (Spanish/English). Good organizational skills, able to communicate well both orally and written.
Working Conditions:
Business environment, general office, various treatment settings, residential and clinic, and local travel as requested.

Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
