About the Job
We are searching for a motivated Accountant who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills. This position will assist the Accounting department with data entry, processing, and recording transactions, updating the ledger, assisting with audits or fact-checking, and preparing budgets and reports. You should be thorough, accurate, and honest with good bookkeeping skills. This position will be expected to work anywhere from 35-45 hours per week and is expected to be needed for approximately 4-6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Providing support to the Accounting Manager as needed with AR.
- Processing transactions, updating ledgers, budgets, etc.
- Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
Accountant Requirements:
- Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills.
- Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Experience with Reconciliations is a plus.
- Professional manner and a strong ethical code.
- Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
- Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to work independently.
