Accounts Payable Specialist-Property/Real Estate

Our team is growing, and we are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to help manage our financial operations with precision and efficiency. Property Management/Real Estate w/Yardi or Sage 300 (Timberline) with construction experience.
Position Overview:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all vendor invoices and payments are processed accurately and timely. Your expertise in using Timberline/Yardi software will be essential in managing our accounts payable functions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile and verify transactions, resolving any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Manage and execute payment runs, including checks and electronic transfers.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to address and resolve billing issues.
- Prepare and review reports related to accounts payable and vendor management.
- Ensure timely processing of payments and adherence to payment terms.
- Some administrative duties, including front office reception and vendor-related duties.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Timberline (Sage 300), Yardi or Appfolio software is required.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
