Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, working onsite. The primary focus of this role is data entry, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable transactions within our property management portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry of accounts receivable transactions, including tenant payments and fee processing.
- Reconcile tenant accounts and apply payments accurately to ensure up-to-date records.
- Prepare and send out invoices, statements, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
- Assist in generating accounts receivable reports for management review.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper files for all tenant accounts.
- Respond to tenant inquiries regarding their accounts in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with property managers and other departments to resolve discrepancies.
- Support month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.
Qualifications:
- Recent Accounts Receivable experience.
- High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework in accounting or finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
