Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Team Leader will be responsible for supervising day-to-day operations of the ACS Accounts Receivable department including cash applications, account reconciliations, and general ledger month-end close activities. The AR Team Lead will track, review and report on key performance metrics, provide backup support and participate in developing and testing system maintenance and AR technology enhancements. The Team Lead will train, coach, develop staff, evaluate performance, and establish annual goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Oversees and supervises the daily activities of the accounts receivable staff including reviewing and approving employee work products and analyzing team workloads.
- Ensures receivables are correctly processed in a timely and accurate manner and supervises the workflows to minimize overtime requirements.
- Supervises and develops AR staff to achieve departmental objectives including determining staffing needs, setting goals, interviewing, selecting, coaching, and evaluating the performance of all direct reports.
- AR Team Lead develops and/or facilitates the development of training materials and desk level procedures as it relates to cash applications and ensure documentation is current.
- Meets accounts receivable operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.
- Prepares and reviews daily and monthly production reports. Prepares adhoc management reports.
- Assists manager with analysis of data and reports.
- Acts as liaison with other departments to ensure efficient flow of information and prepares presentations to communicate processes to business partners.
- Updates professional knowledge by participating in educational opportunities such reading professional publications, participating in bank and finance association- offered trainings, and maintaining personal networks
- Participates and manages system maintenance and upgrade testing on behalf of AR Department.
- Ensuring financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Performs other miscellaneous duties and special projects assigned by management.management reports.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- 5+ Years of Accounts Receivable experience or other relevant finance experience
- Associate degree or higher in related field of study
- 3+ years leadership experience preferred
Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrates the ability to supervise and motivate peers or direct reports at all varying levels
- Has superior spreadsheet skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Tableau knowledge is a plus, overall high level of ability to verify transactional data and create visuals for all levels of leadership
- Ability to display composure, patience, and confidence when facing difficult situations
- Self-starter with a proven track record of task prioritization abilities
- Possesses mental agility and ability to pivot quickly
- Has expertise with PeopleSoft Financials - Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary Range:
$59,000 - $84,000
The position is bonus eligible
