About the Job
The Associate Director of Finance at the Clinical Translational Science Institute (CTSI) is responsible for managing college budgets, finances, and financial service teams. Reporting to the CTSI Chief Operating Officer, this role works closely with CTSI and college leadership to provide financial guidance and feedback to meet strategic goals, including projections and ROI. Key responsibilities include oversight of financial service teams, development of financial policies, compliance monitoring, and management of the CTSI’s budget. The Associate Director also handles financial reporting, fund allocation, and oversight of NIH, State, Auxiliary, Institutional, and UF Foundation funds.The CTSI serves as the intellectual home for clinical and translational research and training at UF, integrating activities across all colleges, campuses, and regional healthcare systems in Florida. Its Service Center supports the research community with services such as research navigation, informatics, biostatistics, and core facilities. The CTSI College of Medicine MD/PhD, K12, and T32 programs support scholars throughout their educational journey. The Associate Director provides fiscal oversight for the Service Center’s activities.
