Job Description: | The Department of Psychiatry seeks applicants for an Assistant Scientist position to conduct research on neural and behavioral mechanisms of cognition and motivated behavior in the context of models of psychiatric and neurological conditions. The position requires the candidate to work independently as a scientist while also collaborating with students, post-doctoral fellows, and other faculty at University of Florida and beyond. We are seeking a scientist with skills in a broad range of behavioral neuroscience techniques, as well as experience with coding and computational analysis of large datasets, statistics, and experimental design.
