AV Installer/Specialist at TEKsystems

As technology advances, this client stays on the leading edge to deliver high-quality Telecom, Audio Visual, Life, and Safety expertise. The AV Division is looking for an AV tech to help promote the growth of the department and the company as a whole.

The team is open to hiring someone with an some AV foundation who is eager to grow within a team and build a career. If you are overqualified, I ask that you please apply, as the team is also looking for higher-level AV specialists. Rates will be based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Somebody who is passionate about AV, whether you are the go-to expert in your home, school, or church, and can always find a solution to any AV problem, or you are interested in working towards becoming that person, we will provide the necessary training, support, and work environment to help you succeed
• You can work independently with minimal guidance but aren’t afraid to ask the right questions when you need help
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills and can be the face of our company to our clients
• We will take into account your experience/skill level and what you bring to the table as an individual
• Customer Service Experience: A must!
• As you can see our customers are #1 and we need someone who can take care of them and treat them as such
• Attitude and Aptitude: Are key!
• We need someone who is eager to learn and comes to work ready to tackle any situation
• AV/IT Networking: 6 months or more of audio-visual installation experience required
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds over your head, have a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check and a CriminalBackground Check

Skills:

Troubleshooting, OSHA certified, Lift certification

Top Skills Details:

Wiring up AV equipment, troubleshooting,

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

-Certification in AV programming (e.g., Crestron Certified Programmer, AMX ACE).

-Experience with networked AV systems and IP-based control.

-Knowledge of audio DSP programming and configuration.
