Short Description:The AVP of Clinical Workforce Development & Academic Partnerships (CWD/AP) fosters and maintains key local, regional, and national academic as well as workforce partnerships with a focus on nursing / patient care services workforce career advancement and professional development opportunities. Additionally, the AVP of CWD/AP will maintain collaborative partnerships with the Talent Acquisition team and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategic recruitment and retention initiatives associated with workforce development. The AVP of CWD/AP will be responsible for ensuring alignment with system goals and brand integrity through effective, collaborative relationship with key internal stakeholders.
- Strategically grow and maintain academic and clinical workforce partnerships to strengthen preparation and transition of individuals into healthcare workforce.
- Facilitate workforce development and professional growth opportunities for nurses and other clinical team members through community, academic programs and partnerships.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Talent Acquisition in the development and alignment of marketing and recruitment efforts with a focus on market brand, website / social media optimization, professional organizations/networking, and recruitment events.
- Partner with Workforce Development Consultant to secure alternative funding sources and workforce grants.
- Administer The Center for Resuscitation Education and Community Engagement.
- Collaborate with Executive Nurse Leaders on key recruitment and retention initiatives.
- Partner with Nursing and Human Resource leaders on advancing successful outcomes of nurse extern, graduate nurse and nurse residency.
3-5 years of progressive Healthcare related leadership required.
Masters required.
License/Certification Requirements:
- Current New Jersey license as a Registered Nurse.
- National specialty certification preferred.
