As an AVP Reinsurance Broker, you'll be an integral part of our successful broking team, working with existing clients and developing new business across all lines of insurance. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the preparation of insurance and reinsurance submissions for new and renewal accounts.
Assisting with negotiations and placements for reinsurance and program placements.
Acting as a key liaison between insurers and reinsurers, ensuring top-tier service and support.
Representing our firm at client meetings, presentations, audits, and industry events.
Collaborating with our contracts department to prepare treaty contracts and program agreements.
Maintaining strong relationships with clients and markets, ensuring smooth administration of accounts.
Coordinating with our actuarial team to analyze client portfolios and recommend appropriate solutions.
Driving the development of new relationships and converting business opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of the reinsurance market.
A Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a STEM field.
A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
Strong technical skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with actuaries and interpret complex data.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
A team player who is motivated to learn and grow in an evolving industry.
An innovative thinker who is not afraid to challenge the status quo and suggest improvements.
Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
