Position Overview
This position is responsible for advising student on degree/program requirements and course scheduling. Maintains and updates student status records, transcript evaluations, degree plan audits, and graduation applications. Responsible for taking a leadership role in training and mentoring other advisors, participating in outreach/recruitment activities, managing special projects and/or serving as a subject matter expert on specialized majors and determining how transfer credits apply toward degree requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and two years' of experience in student affairs, student services, counseling, or professional academic advising.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:
- Strong public speaking and communication skills.
Required License/Registration/Certifications
Job Duties:
- Advise students individually and in group settings regarding degree requirements and University and College Policies. Make referrals to campus offices as necessary.
- Prepare and update degree audits: evaluating and applying transfer work in accordance with University and College policies.
- Process graduation applications and degree plans: as assigned to meet RCoB and University deadlines.
- Prepare and present Ryan College of Business degree information at new student orientations and other group activities.
- Contribute to the overall organizational health and performance of the Ryan College of Business Undergraduate Programs Office through teamwork, knowledge sharing, professional development and professional relationship building.
- Demonstrates commitment and ability to support a diverse group of individuals within the academic community.
Work Schedule:
Mon-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, occasional nights and weekends
