About the Job
QualSights has an immediate opening for an entrepreneurial Account Director with deep experience in developing and implementing strategies for the retention of existing business, as well as expansion within specific accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management, with a particular focus on expansion and renewal within the Consumer Insights industry, especially with CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) companies. Reporting to the SVP of Accounts, this Account Director will be key to the company’s success in generating year-over-year growth and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for account expansion and renewal to exceed target revenue goals within your assigned portfolio of accounts.
- Act as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers within CPG companies, ensuring long-term client retention and growth through proactive relationship management.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for expansion by introducing additional services, solutions, and technologies that align with client business objectives.
- Build a strong understanding of each client’s business challenges to provide tailored solutions and ensure ongoing satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless execution on client projects and facilitate cross-functional communication to address any client issues.
- Lead client renewals by ensuring clients derive maximum value from the platform and showcasing how QualSights’ unique offerings continue to meet their evolving needs.
- Continuously educate clients on the capabilities of QualSights’ platform, positioning the company as a key partner in driving innovation within the consumer insights space.
- Troubleshoot and resolve client issues in collaboration with project managers and senior leadership, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Regularly track and analyze client performance metrics to present strategic insights and recommendations for future growth.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations, leveraging data and case studies, to support account expansion efforts.

- Deeply knowledgeable about the Consumer Insights industry, with a specific focus on working with CPG companies.
- Entrepreneurial in your approach, always identifying new opportunities for client growth within existing accounts.
- Adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with high-level stakeholders at large CPG organizations.
- Passionate about changing the landscape of consumer insights through highly relevant, tech-based solutions.
- A strong communicator, able to deliver clear and compelling presentations, and skilled at translating complex insights into actionable recommendations.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally to drive client success, and able to work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver results.
- Highly adaptable, thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in the Consumer Insights industry, focused on research design, client/project success, and account management, including familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets for account expansion and renewals.
- Experience working with large CPG companies, with a deep understanding of their business challenges and consumer insights needs.
- BA/BS (4-year required) with a strong academic record.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and online project management tools.
Position Type
This is a full-time position. Occasionally, this role may require work outside of normal business hours. But don't worry, we strongly believe in a healthy work-life balance.
Our team is adept in successfully collaborating in a 100% environment. Our team is spread out across the US and Canada. As long as you can commit to working CST hours, you can be based anywhere in the US.
